FT VET was founded by a team of terraristics enthusiasts who, starting from their own practical needs, set out to create solutions that combine professional functionality with aesthetics, hygiene, and maximum animal comfort. After extensive testing and analysis of various materials, we chose enclosures made from solid polypropylene sheets, merged by hot-welding for maximum strength and durability.
This technology proved to be the most robust and animal-safe solution, while also being environmentally responsible. Polypropylene is 100% recyclable, and the manufacturing process does not require the use of adhesives or silicones that generate toxic waste. In addition, the material offers exceptional durability, ease of hygiene maintenance, and outstanding functionality in everyday professional use.
After years of delivering diverse projects within the terraristics industry and through close cooperation with veterinary professionals, we decided to contribute our expertise to this beautiful field dedicated to saving animal lives.

Heat welded
construction
Our cages are made using solid polypropylene welding technology, which guarantees exceptional durability for many years. We offer a 6-year warranty on our welds, with the option to extend it to 10 years.
Waterproof
Polypropylene is a fully waterproof material, and our tightly fused welds ensure absolute watertightness. We do not use adhesives or silicones, which lose their effectiveness over time.
Durability
The welded construction can easily handle heavy loads. Our cages can be stacked on top of each other to create sets with any configuration.
Impact resistance
High material impact resistance (20 kJ/m²) ensures that even aggressive animals will not damage our cages. This applies not only to the structural elements but also to the transparent fronts made of solid polycarbonate.
High temperature resistance
Polypropylene withstands continuous temperatures up to 100 °C and melts at around 170 °C. These properties allow safe use of heating systems in our cages. The material can also be safely sterilized with boiling water.
Lightweight
Our cages are exceptionally lightweight. A 1 m² panel weighs only 5.4 kg. For example, an S cage (60 × 50 × 45 cm) weighs just over 8 kg, while an L cage (110 × 60 × 50 cm) weighs 16.2 kg. This significantly improves handling and daily operation.
Hygiene & easy cleaning
The non-stick surface of polypropylene is a key advantage when it comes to hygiene. In FT VET cages, waste removal is easy thanks to the welding technology used, which eliminates gaps where dirt could accumulate. Chemical and boiling-water sterilization is possible.
Safety
Polypropylene is completely safe for animals. It is certified for contact with drinking water and food. Thanks to its chemical resistance, it is widely used in laboratories and industry, including for the storage of acids and oils.
Eco-friendly manufacturing
Although it may sound surprising, our cages are 100% recyclable. The entire production process follows a zero-waste approach—no toxic adhesives or sealants are used, and production waste is processed into granulate that is reused.
